Quick answers about courses, certificates, billing, and your account.
Courses and lessons
How do courses work?
Each course is a series of sections: interactive lessons paired with checkpoint quizzes. Work through them in order, pass each quiz, and the course is complete. Your progress is saved automatically, so you can stop and continue any time, from any device.
What are interactive lessons?
Instead of passive videos, lessons are a sequence of short steps: narrated explanations, predictions, quizzes, sorting exercises, and reflections. Every narrated step has audio and subtitles in eight languages (English, Turkish, Arabic, Spanish, French, Russian, German, Italian) — use the player controls to switch.
Do I need a technical background?
No. Courses are levelled: beginner courses assume nothing beyond everyday computer use. Each course page lists its difficulty and any recommended prerequisites.
Are the courses free?
Every course currently on the platform is free. If a course has a price, it is shown on the course page before you enroll and is charged once at checkout — there is no subscription.
Quizzes and progress
What score do I need to pass a quiz?
The pass threshold is shown on each course page (typically 70%). If you score below it, review the lesson and try again — retakes are unlimited and free.
A section will not mark as complete. What do I do?
Reading sections complete when you finish the lesson player (or press the mark-complete button); quiz sections complete when you reach the pass threshold. If your progress looks stuck, sign out and back in, and if it persists, send us a message via the contact page with the course and section number.
Certificates and verification
How do I earn a certificate?
Complete every section of a course, including passing all quizzes. The certificate is issued automatically and appears under Certificates in your dashboard, downloadable as PDF or PNG.
I finished the course but have no certificate. Why?
Most courses require identity verification before the certificate is issued, so that the name on the credential is trusted. Go to your dashboard and complete identity verification — the certificate is issued retroactively the moment verification is approved.
How does identity verification work?
You upload a photo of a government-issued document (passport, national ID, or driving licence). An automated check compares the document name with your account name; anything unclear goes to a human review. Document images are stored in restricted, non-public storage and are automatically deleted after 90 days.
How can an employer verify my certificate?
Every certificate carries a credential ID and a QR code. Anyone can enter the ID on our verification page — no account needed — and see the holder name, course, and issue date.
Payments, billing, and refunds
How do payments work?
Paid courses are one-time purchases processed by PayPal. You can pay with a PayPal account or a card through PayPal checkout. We never see or store your card details. Your purchases and receipts are available on your Billing page.
Where do I find my invoices and receipts?
Open Billing in your dashboard sidebar. Every purchase has a printable receipt with the order reference, amount, and date. A receipt is also emailed to you at the time of purchase.
What is the refund policy?
Paid courses can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if you have completed less than 25% of the course and no certificate has been issued. The full policy is on our refund policy page.
Account and security
I forgot my password.
Use the "Forgot password" link on the login page and we email you a reset link (valid for one hour). No access to your email? The account recovery option verifies you with your birthdate and security question instead.
Why should I verify my email address?
Verification confirms we can reach you for certificates, receipts, and password resets. Click the button in the welcome email, or use the resend button in the banner on your dashboard.
How do I change my name or profile details?
Under Settings you can update your profile and password, and enable two-factor authentication. Keep your name accurate — it is printed on your certificates.
How do I enable two-factor authentication?
In Settings, choose "Enable 2FA" and scan the QR code with any authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password). You will then confirm a 6-digit code at every login.
