AI in HR: Applied Practice
Take AI across the full employee lifecycle — from attraction to exit — at the Advise and Augment levels.
The sequel to AI in HR: Foundations. Foundations made you AI-capable on individual tasks — prompting, recruiting, writing, and reading people data. Applied Practice makes you AI-capable across the whole employee lifecycle, and pushes you from drafting and analyzing into the two hardest levels of the 5A Pyramid: Advise (recommend a decision, with evidence) and Augment (elevate human strategy).
You will work through every stage an employee passes through, and learn where AI adds real value at each — and where it quietly creates legal and ethical risk.
This course is built on two frameworks:
- The THRIVE Lifecycle — the course spine. Six stages, one per module: Talent attraction, Hiring, Ramp-up, Investment, Value, Exit.
- The FAIR Audit — a four-step check you run on any AI tool that screens, ranks, or predicts on people: Four-fifths, Anonymize, Inspect, Record.
Prerequisite: AI in HR: Foundations (B-201), or equivalent comfort with the 5A Pyramid, the PEOPLE Method, and the rule that AI drafts and analyzes; humans decide.
Your capstone: design an AI-augmented play for one lifecycle stage, run a FAIR Audit on it, and write the leadership readout.
